Job summary

RJIT Solutions seeks a Senior Tableau Analytics Engineer to lead visualization and reporting for a statewide anomaly-detection platform in the Florida context. You will own dashboards, data sources, and governance across multiple agencies, ensuring reproducibility and audit-ready outputs.

The role requires senior Tableau expertise, state-agency experience, and strong SQL/Python skills, with remote work within the United States and periodic travel to Tallahassee for onboarding and testing.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Tableau certification at senior level.
• Direct experience delivering analytics for a Florida state agency.
• Bachelor's degree in data science, CS, IS, statistics, business analytics, accounting, or related.
• 8+ years in data visualization/BI/analytics engineering, with 5+ years Tableau at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the full role-based dashboard portfolio with enterprise views.
• Implement row-level security and multi-tenant permission models.
• Build governed, published data sources and refresh strategies.
• Develop calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters, and actions for drill-downs.
• Meet performance thresholds: loads under 5s, filters under 2s, exports under 10s.
• Establish a standardized reporting template library for PDF/Excel outputs.
• Ensure exports preserve active filter context for auditability.
