Job summary

GlobalPoint is seeking an experienced Tableau Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise dashboards across multiple data sources. You will build complex Tableau reports, write high-performance SQL, and collaborate with cloud data platforms to improve reporting efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in Tableau and SQL, strong data modeling and performance tuning skills, and experience with Redshift, SQL Server, and AWS data services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with Tableau and SQL development.
• Expert-level Tableau Desktop/Creator experience.
• Expert-level SQL writing, tuning, and maintenance.
• Experience building dashboards across multiple data sources.
• Strong data modeling and performance optimization skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data-driven Tableau reports, dashboards, and visualizations from concept through deployment.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for enterprise reporting.
• Integrate data from Redshift, SQL Server, AWS Athena, and data lakes.
• Diagnose and resolve slow-performing workbooks and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cloud/data engineering teams to source and prepare reporting data.
• Document dashboard logic, data sources, and transformations.
