Job summary

Avathon is seeking a hands‑on Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to lead university recruiting and full‑cycle hiring for technical and GTM roles in Pleasanton, CA. You will partner with top universities to pipeline PhD, MBA, and early‑career talent, while coordinating with our India team to ensure global alignment and speed.

You will advise senior leaders on market conditions, implement structured interviewing, and drive data hygiene across Greenhouse for real‑time insights and improved candidate

Qualifications

• Proven track record building university recruitment programs and engaging advanced degree candidates.
• 6+ years of progressive, full‑cycle talent acquisition experience within high‑growth technology or SaaS organizations.
• Balanced recruiting expertise across AI/ML, Engineering and commercial GTM hiring.
• Experience collaborating with offshore recruiting teams (specifically in India) to drive global hiring alignment.
• Expertise with Greenhouse ATS (or equivalent) and meticulous recruiting data hygiene.
• Strong understanding of structured interviewing methodologies, talent analytics, and pipeline metrics.
• Proven track record consulting with hiring managers on offers and market conditions.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with agility to shift between strategy and hands‑on sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale Bay Area campus recruiting initiatives and university partnerships.
• Own full‑lifecycle recruiting across technical (AI/ML, Data Engineering, Software Architecture, Product) and GTM/commercial roles.
• Develop creative, proactive multi‑channel sourcing strategies to pipeline diverse, high‑caliber passive talent.
• Partner with recruiting team in India to ensure global alignment and delivery.
• Act as a trusted talent advisor to leadership and hiring managers on market intelligence and offers.
• Implement structured interviewing practices and scorecards to improve decision quality.
• Maximize Greenhouse to manage pipelines and real‑time reporting metrics.
• Leverage external agencies strategically to fill niche or urgent roles.
• Provide a high‑touch candidate experience from outreach through onboarding.
