Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior T56 System Engineer with expertise in T56 and Helo engine controls to lead interface requirement development, model interface integration and engine control software update efforts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in control systems.
• Experience with agile development methods for product development.
• FAA/Military certification/qualification of airborne systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive planning for and compliance to design gate reviews.
• Identify and execute verification and integration of the engine control and monitoring system, generating results documentation and working to define and close problem reports stemming from the verification.
• Review systems engineering work products for quality and completeness of technical content.
• Creating innovative solutions to system level issues related to aircraft and/or propulsion system performance.
• Understanding system level issues related to propulsion system design, performance, operability and operation.
