Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Project Manager specialized in electric utility Transmission, Distribution and Substation for on-site work in Akron, Pittsburgh, Reading, and Richmond. You will own project scope, schedule, budget, and coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

The role requires hands-on utility T&D/Substation PM experience, managing projects through construction and energization, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project/construction management experience.
• Direct electric utility T&D/Substation project-management experience required.
• Experience with utility construction sites and managing projects through construction/execution.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders and project closeout.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; utility experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Manage Transmission, Distribution and Substation capital projects.
• Own scope, schedule, budget, forecasting, and cost controls.
• Lead contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and utility operations.
• Lead meetings and manage contract administration.
