Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks a Project Manager with direct electric utility T&D/substation experience to own projects from preconstruction through energization. This on-site role supports major utility infrastructure programs in Akron, Pittsburgh, Reading and Richmond.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, RFIs, and closeout, coordinating with engineering teams and contractors while leading client meetings to deliver safe, on-time projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project/construction management experience.
• Direct electric utility T&D/Substation PM experience required.
• Experience managing utility construction sites.
• Experience completing projects through construction/execution phase.
• Experience with transmission lines, substations, or distribution upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Owns capital projects from preconstruction to energization.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget and cost controls.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and field personnel.
• Lead preconstruction, progress, and client meetings.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout.
• Coordinate outages, ROW, and environmental requirements.
