Farnsworth Group is seeking a Power Transmission & Distribution Engineer/Project Manager to lead power industry projects from concept through completion, focusing on electric transmission and distribution design.

Role requires strong client-facing skills, project financial ownership, and the ability to manage interdisciplinary engineering and construction activities to design, analyze and modernize power infrastructure.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 7+ years of T&D experience in consulting or utility environments.
• 3+ years managing power industry projects.
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, CYME, PLS-CADD or similar.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or PMP Certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Build and grow client relationships and support business development.
• Serve as the primary client contact ensuring communication, alignment, and high-quality delivery.
• Lead transmission, distribution and substation projects from planning through closeout.
• Provide leadership across multi-disciplinary teams (electrical, civil, survey, environmental, structural).
• Prepare and oversee project schedules, budgets, forecasting, scope, risk management, and staffing.
• Develop engineering drawings, specifications, cost estimates and project execution plans.
