Job summary

Tucson Electric Power seeks a Manager, Transmission & Distribution to lead diverse teams and contractors in planning, construction, maintenance, and delivery of critical electric infrastructure. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with leadership experience.
Advanced knowledge of electric utility business and project mgmt.
Ability to lead diverse teams and handle confidential matters.
Strong planning, prioritization, and communication skills.
Proficiency with common computer applications and software technology.

Responsibilities

Lead construction managers, contractors, and project teams to deliver construction and maintenance work safely and on schedule.
Coach and develop employees through feedback, training, cross-training, and succession planning.
Oversee project prioritization, resource allocation, schedules, budgets, risks, and change orders.
Collaborate with multiple departments, contractors, customers, and agencies to resolve challenges and deliver solutions.
Improve safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, and customer service while complying with standards and regulations.
Provide leadership for project controls, budgeting, and governance from initiation to closeout.
