Job summary

You will design test plans, run comprehensive tests, analyze data, and coordinate with hardware, software, and verification teams while mentoring junior engineers. A US Secret security clearance is required and the team operates in a high-stakes defense environment.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering foundation in software, hardware, or FPGA development.
• 6+ years of testing and verification experience for product design and development.
• Expertise with test plans, test cases, and test procedures for integrated hardware and software systems.
• Experience with software testing methodologies for complex systems and lifecycle testing.
• Demonstrated ability to perform HITL testing to verify requirements.
• Hands-on experience configuring and testing networking devices and architectures.
• Experience with systems engineering and requirements management tools to verify requirements by test.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute detailed test cases, plans, and procedures based on system requirements.
• Collaborate across hardware and software teams in fast-paced development environments.
• Execute HITL and end-to-end evaluations of integrated hardware and software.
• Assess test coverage and maintain traceability from requirements to verification evidence.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and test networking devices and system architectures.
• Define and manage the integrated test strategy and schedule across programs.
• Communicate test status, results, and risks to engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Establish test standards and tooling; mentor junior engineers in test design and verification.
