Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Test Engineer III in Texas to join the Raytheon SE&TC team, delivering a complex system of systems to customers. You will operate radar test equipment, collaborate with leadership, and communicate with the test team to ensure design integrity. The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of system integration experience, 1st/2nd shift flexibility, and a U.S.

DoD Top Secret clearance with U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience with system integration and troubleshooting
• Flexibility to work 1st and 2nd shift to meet program requirements.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Operate Radar test equipment and assist in system test execution ensuring the system meets specifications
• Work closely with the team and leadership
• Communicate daily with the test team as well as other engineers associated with test
• Maintain a systems-level perspective while supporting integration, verification, and validation activities
• Analyze system problems and communicate issues to the engineering team
