Job summary

Zohorecruit, on behalf of our client in Columbia, United States, seeks an experienced Systems Test Engineer to support testing and validation of mission-critical software, telecommunications infrastructure, network components, and radio/telephone communication systems.

This individual will be responsible for verifying that integrated hardware and software solutions meet defined technical, functional, performance, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/EE or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in software, systems, hardware, or integration testing.
• Experience developing test plans and documentation for internal/customer testing.
• Experience testing mission-critical or high-availability hardware/software.
• Hands-on telecom tech like VoIP, T1, ISDN, POTS, TDM.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts.
• Perform system-level testing: functional, performance, reliability, security.
• Support FAT/FQT, customer acceptance testing, and verification activities.
• Manage test environments and supporting infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to reproduce and resolve defects.
• Maintain testing documentation and report status to stakeholders.
• Analyze results for trends and process improvements.
• Communicate technical risks and issues to teams and customers.
