Job summary

Yubico is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join the Production and Fulfillment Services team, shaping software for YubiKey production and fulfillment. You will design, prototype, and collaborate across product, hardware and UX to deliver secure, user-friendly production software.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering, experience with C++/C#/NET, REST, UI frameworks, and cloud/Kubernetes, and involves expanding knowledge of security tech and cryptographic protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building system software with native/memory-safe languages (C++, C#, .NET).
• Hands-on REST API integrations.
• Experience with UI frameworks (Avalonia, WPF, XAML).
• Knowledge of asymmetric cryptography.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design and refactor applications for Windows desktop operators.
• Prototype and iterate based on user feedback and standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Production, Hardware and UX teams.
• Develop compelling UIs using native and cross-platform tech.
• Learn and apply security tech across YubiKeys (FIDO2/WebAuthn, etc.).
