Job summary

Yubico is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join the Production and Fulfillment Services team. You’ll design and refine software that controls YubiKey production, enabling operators to leverage production equipment with high reliability.

You’ll gain exposure to security protocols (FIDO2/WebAuthn, FIDO U2F) and work across Product, Production, Hardware, and UX to ship secure, scalable software for our operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor or MS in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with OS internals, threading, logging facilities.
Experience building system software with native/memory-safe languages (C++, C#, Rust, .NET).
REST API integrations and AI tool usage (Claude/Codex/ChatGPT).
Thrives in fast-paced environments and can learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, refactor, and integrate applications for Windows desktop operators with production equipment.
Prototype and iterate based on user feedback and industry standards.
Collaborate across Product, Production, Hardware, and UX to deliver user-friendly software.
