Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a senior system software engineer for the GPU Diagnostics SW team in California. You’ll design, implement, and test changes to take next-gen hardware from design to production, with emphasis on emulation, bring-up, and hardening across datacenter systems and desktops.

You’ll work on a large system software code base, requiring deep hardware/software architecture knowledge and strong C/C++ skills. Equity and benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills and knowledge of libraries and toolchains.
• 5+ years hands-on experience developing low level systems software, preferably on Linux.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, unit test and debug changes in the NVIDIA SW stack from design to production.
• Be heavily involved in emulation, bring-up, and product hardening for groundbreaking products.
• Track devices from manufacturing through development to datacenter systems and desktops.
• Tackle problems that impact NVIDIA’s end users and partner OEMs.
• Work with hardware and software architectures at a deep systems level.
