Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Plano, TX is seeking a Scientist, Systems Engineering, Cyber Security to lead multiple product development efforts including hardware and software requirements, decomposition, allocation, and verification of technical products and systems.

You will guide system integration, perform trade studies, and support Certification and Accreditation activities while applying DoD security standards and RMF processes to ensure robust, secure designs for national defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active US Secret security clearance.
• Experience with DoD 5200.39 and CPI protection.
• Knowledge of RMF accreditation and A&A processes (RMF steps 1‑4).
• Experience with radar systems development and secure systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware and software requirements, decomposition, allocation, verification of technical products and systems.
• Lead component trade studies, system integration, and performance characterization.
• Prepare Certification and Accreditation documentation and security plans.
• Interact with customers to define AT requirements and solutions; manage costs and schedules.
• Support security engineering activities and proposal efforts.
