Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL, seeks a Lead, Information Security Systems Engineer to oversee security engineering across the system lifecycle. You will work with customers to define requirements, architect secure solutions, and drive comprehensive RMF/A&A processes onsite in a lab environment.

The role requires DoD security program experience, DoD 8140 certification potential within six months, and coordination with program teams to achieve secure authorizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
• Active Collateral Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment activities for security and privacy controls in embedded systems using NIST 800-53.
• Experience leading programs through the RMF accreditation and authorization (A&A) processes to include RMF steps 1-4 and BoE package development.
• Experience in A&A package processing and RMF accreditation of Platform IT (PIT) systems.
• Assist program security with basis of estimate development, requirements, design, test, and maintenance of information systems and data.
• Experience with Security Testing and Verification and with EVMS tools as CAM/IPTL.
