Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Security Engineer (P3) to join our SSE team in Woburn, MA. This onsite role focuses on cybersecurity, system protection, and DoD/IA accreditation, leveraging RMF controls and C&A processes to safeguard the Warfighter’s technology.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, active Secret clearance, and hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX, Python or Bash, and security toolsets such as Splunk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date, U.S. citizenship is required
• Experience in System Security Engineering, cybersecurity, program protection, and embedded security

Responsibilities

• Define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness
• Support RMF controls compliance
• Consult with program management on SSE architecture and issues
• Support development of bids and proposals
• Implement security controls on networking devices, databases, OS, and hardware/software
• Integrate cybersecurity development activities
