Qualifications

• 15+ years in safety and systems engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• US citizenship and Secret clearance required.
• Experience with DoD/AF system engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish system safety engineering tasks including risk assessment.
• Assist in the system safety program for assigned program(s) to ensure safe to operate and maintain.
• Review and assist with system safety plans, hazard analyses, risk assessments, and safety proposals.
• Establish or use hazard tracking logs to track each hazard to closure.
