Job summary

RTX in Portsmouth, RI seeks a Senior System Engineer to lead requirements and specification efforts for naval sensor and combat systems. You will create, maintain, and verify system requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with program objectives, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Travel up to 15% may be required. DoD Secret clearance is required. RTX offers relocation assistance and a broad benefits package in support of mission excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo or other digital engineering tools.
• Experience with system software, hardware, system requirements and/or test.
• Experience with underwater acoustics analysis, sensor systems, and naval system development.

Responsibilities

• Define, manage, and validate system requirements across the full lifecycle.
• Review technical work products for completeness and compliance with standards.
• Contribute to MBSE and other engineering processes and methodologies.
