Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Proven success leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary engineering projects through full lifecycle.
• Proven ability to develop and execute technical strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Exceptional leadership, influencing, and mentoring abilities across engineering and customer teams.
• Strong technical depth to guide architecture-level decisions and complex trade studies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chief project engineer or senior technical lead for large defense programs.
• Define and guide system architecture, integration, and verification strategies.
• Oversee engineering execution across IPTs and major subcontractors.
• Lead technical baseline definition, configuration management, and system integration planning.
• Chair or support major design and integration reviews and ensure readiness.
• Serve as primary engineering interface to executive management and DoD customers.
• Manage SOWs, subcontractor deliverables, and supplier inputs.
• Develop risk and opportunity management frameworks across programs.
• Provide mentorship and oversight to project engineers and leads.
• Support proposal development, cost estimation, and new business capture.
• Guide adherence to systems engineering standards and MBSE practices.
