Link High Technologies Inc. in Florham Park, NJ is seeking an experienced Systems / Project Engineer with MSP background to own client infrastructure projects and drive resolutions.

Responsibilities include Office 365 migrations, Azure server deployments, and on‑premise support, with strong documentation and proactive problem solving. This in‑office role involves occasional client visits and collaboration with the support team to deliver reliable solutions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years MSP/IT consulting experience.
• Windows Server administration and Active Directory/DNS.
• Office 365 administration, troubleshooting, and migrations.
• Azure infrastructure including VMs and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Networking fundamentals including VLANs and connectivity.
• Virtualization with VMware or Hyper‑V.
• SonicWall or similar firewall management and Datto backups.

Responsibilities

• Support and expand on-premise server infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot escalated issues from remote support.
• Configure and maintain corporate firewalls (SonicWall).

• Provide client-facing technical guidance and solutions.
• Participate in remote support and onsite project work.

Link High Technologies Inc. is an established Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Florham Park, NJ supporting businesses throughout Northern New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and New York City. We are seeking an experienced Systems / Project Engineer with strong MSP experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of technical issues from start to resolution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure problems, collaborating with teammates, and working directly with clients to deliver reliable solutions. This is an in-office position based in our Florham Park office, with occasional travel to client sites for projects and support. Applicants must have recent MSP experience.

Engineers on our team do not wait for work to be assigned. They proactively review the queue, collaborate with teammates, and help drive problems to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Work with the support team, technical account managers, and project team
• Provide client-facing technical guidance and solutions
• Participate in both remote support and onsite project work
• Participate in an on-call rotation with the rest of the technical services team

Client Locations & Travel

Our clients are located across Northern New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and New York City. Most client support is delivered remotely using remote tools; engineers occasionally travel to client sites for project work or complex issues. Engineers report to our Florham Park office full-time, with flexibility when a remote day is needed.

Required Experience

• 5+ years recent MSP / IT consulting experience (required)
• Microsoft Windows Server administration

• Office 365 administration, troubleshooting, and migrations
• Azure infrastructure (Virtual Machines and Azure Virtual Desktop)
• Networking fundamentals including VLANs and connectivity
• Virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V
• Corporate firewall management (SonicWall or similar)
• Backup technologies such as Datto or equivalent

Preferred Experience

• ConnectWise Manage / Ninja RMM
• ITGlue documentation
• Microsoft Intune Deployment and Administration
• SharePoint Migration/administration

Non‑Technical Skills

• Client-facing communication and professionalism
• Ability to help develop project Statements of Work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to follow internal procedures and document work daily in our PSA
• Initiative to take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution
• Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical clients

• You prefer a slower internal IT environment
• You are not interested in learning full client environments

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $85,000–$95,000, commensurate with experience
