About the Role

LinkTech, LLC is a customer‑first Managed Service Provider (MSP) supporting clients across various industries from Milwaukee to Madison and beyond. Our success is directly tied to customer satisfaction, and we pride ourselves on our ability to listen, adapt, and deliver high‑quality IT solutions. As we expand, we’re seeking a Systems Engineer to help lead technical projects, support the team, and ensure we continue to deliver exceptional service.

Essential Responsibilities

• Bring a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and treat customers with respect and empathy.
• Work with LinkTech clients to deliver on service agreements and ensure subscribed services are delivered in compliance with established protocols.
• Maintain healthy RMM (Remote Monitoring & Management) checks and resolve customer issues via phone, email, or in‑person.
• Review client software and hardware infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.
• Deliver reports to clients confirming service quality and system health.
• Develop project proposals; once approved, manage projects to ensure consistent progress.
• Provide mentorship and support to other engineers and consultants.
• Track time effectively to demonstrate effort and project value.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT Management, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience deploying infrastructure and supporting end users.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft On‑Premises and Cloud solutions (e.g., Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows 10/11).
• Strong understanding of remote device management, including patch management, software/hardware monitoring, and managed antivirus.
• Solid grasp of network topology, including routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls (pfSense experience preferred).
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Bonus if you have experience with: RMM tools, Cloud backup solutions, Network management tools, FreePBX or Asterisk VoIP systems, Linux server environments.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, VMware, CompTIA) are a plus.
