Job summary

Genius Road, LLC is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to provide operational support and manage a complex server environment in Tallahassee, Florida. The role involves administering servers, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications to ensure security, performance, and availability.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years of infrastructure experience, strong Windows Server, Linux, and networking skills, plus AWS and Azure cloud expertise.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure administration, or related IT environments.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server (2012–2022), IIS administration, Linux (RedHat/Ubuntu), networking (TCP/IP, DNS), and enterprise system administration.
• Strong cloud expertise in AWS, with experience in Azure and other cloud platforms; knowledge of cloud networking and infrastructure architectures.
• Proven troubleshooting, automation, documentation, analytical, and communication skills in complex, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer, support, and enhance organizational infrastructure, including server environments, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, security, availability, and network operations while coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based and on-premises solutions, including Azure DevOps projects, repositories, pipelines, and organizational settings.
• Recommend and implement infrastructure improvements, upgrades, automation, and cost/performance optimizations while supporting development and IT teams.

Systems Administrator

Contract: 12-Months (No C2C or Third-Party Vendors)
Location: Tallahassee, Florida (5 days, onsite)

Our client is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to provide operational support, maintenance, administration, and project execution across a complex server environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing medium to high-complexity systems, troubleshooting and resolving critical infrastructure issues, and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of enterprise server platforms.

• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure administration, or related IT environments
