Job summary

Broward County Clerk of Courts is seeking an experienced IT Security professional to maintain and enhance network security across all locations and external connections. You will design, deploy, and manage security infrastructure including firewalls, SIEM, MFA, and related tools.

The role requires five years in network administration and cyber security, with certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, or Security+. Strong problem solving and on-call availability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5 years of network admin/cyber security experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with related experience.
• Certifications in CCNA, CISSP, CISM, CEH or Security+ are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide network security for all users and external agencies.
• Install and manage switches, routers, firewalls, and data circuits.
• Conduct periodic security reviews and implement safeguards.
• Troubleshoot network performance and coordinate with providers.
• Design network and security components across the organization.
• Administer security applications and Windows/Linux systems.
