Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a seasoned systems administrator in Hawaii to manage complex IT infrastructure supporting DoD missions. You will ensure system integrity, deploy new services, and maintain comprehensive documentation across Windows and multiple OS environments.

Required 10+ years of related experience, TS/SCI clearance, and strong expertise with STIGs, patching, PowerShell, and virtualization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, technical
10+ years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis
US Top Secret/SCI security clearance required
Valid passport for international travel
Experience with Server STIGs, patching, Tenable, ACAS, SCCM, and IAVA vulnerabilities
Experience with Group Policy and Windows PowerShell
Experience with multiple OS and scripting languages
Comprehensive knowledge of related hardware and software
Windows 10 certification within 90 days
Meets DoD 8750 and ITIL V4 Foundation requirements (or will obtain)

Responsibilities

Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running one or more operating systems
Maintains the integrity and security of systems
Supports users with deployment of new services
Maintains system documentation
Recommends hardware/software purchases and coordinates installation
Develops and monitors resource allocation policies
Adheres to system administration best practices
Maintains knowledge of related hardware and software
Occasionally performs networks, DTS, IA and logistics duties
May work outside normal hours including weekends/holidays
