Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a senior IT infrastructure professional to support the US BICES-X program at Pearl Harbor, HI. The role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance, US citizenship, and extensive Windows server, security, and DoD compliance experience.

You will manage multiple systems, apply STIGs, patching, vulnerability tools, and Group Policy, and assist with deployments and documentation. Some travel and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 10+ years of related experience in systems administration and analysis
• US Citizenship required
• Must possess and maintain a US Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
• Experience with Server STIGs, patching, Tenable, ACAS, SCCM, and IAVA vulnerabilities
• Experience with Group Policy and Windows PowerShell
• Experience with Multiple OS’ and scripting languages
• Windows 10 Certification within 90 days
• Must meet DoD 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access and ITIL V4 Foundation shortly after hire

Responsibilities

• Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
• Maintains the integrity and security of systems
• Supports users with deployment of new services
• Maintains system documentation
• Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery
• Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to computing resources
• Adheres to the principles, methods, and techniques used in system administration and support
• Maintains/enhances knowledge of related hardware and software
• Occasionally performs networks, DTS, information assurance and logistics duties
• May work outside of normal hours including weekends and holidays
