Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a mid to senior level Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. This role focuses on cross-platform system administration, automation, and cloud-based infrastructure for a fast-paced engineering environment.

You will work across Windows, Linux, and macOS, support Docker containers, and develop automation using Bash and PowerShell to improve reliability and efficiency. Collaboration with engineering teams is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments.
Strong troubleshooting across systems, networking, cloud, authentication, and applications.
Networking concepts: DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, subnets, security groups.
Experience with Docker and containerized development environments.
Proficiency with Bash and/or PowerShell scripting for automation.
Ability to work with engineering, software development, and product teams.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Windows, Linux, and macOS environments, including provisioning, configuration, and automation.
Manage user access, authentication, permissions, and security across local and cloud infrastructure.
Troubleshoot networking infrastructure: DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, subnets, security groups.
Support engineering teams with infrastructure, development tools, and containerized environments.
Administer and support AWS and/or Azure cloud environments and develop Bash/PowerShell scripts.
Perform root cause analysis and implement scalable, long-term solutions.
