Job summary

AeroVironment in Huntsville, AL seeks an infrastructure engineer to ensure all DBT Infrastructure systems function efficiently and to support unified communications, messaging and identity for a seamless user experience. The role also provides escalation support to the Service Desk within an ITIL framework.

Responsibilities include incident resolutions, server administration (Windows and Linux), on-call queue management, on‑premises AD/DNS/VMware/firewalls, and Azure-based identity management;

Qualifications

• 7-10 years Windows/Linux OS configuration, automation, and management.
• 5-7 years automation scripting with PowerShell or related tools.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Systems Administration/Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT Management or related field or equivalent.
• ITIL V4+ Foundation knowledge and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, responsive resolutions to IT Incidents.
• Server administration Windows and Linux deployment.
• Managing the Infrastructure incident support queues daily.
• On-premises infrastructure: AD, DNS, VMWare, firewalls, routing.
• Identity and user management via Azure or third parties.
• Other duties as assigned.
