Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of related engineering experience; or Master’s with 3 years; or PhD with 1 year
• Ability to obtain a US DoD Government security clearance
• In-depth knowledge of vibration theory, structural dynamics and finite element methods

Responsibilities

• Develop complex dynamic models of launch vehicles and verify model quality
• Perform multi-body kinematics simulations for separation events
• Define scope, perform analyses, and prepare results for reports
• Support development of defense systems including missile defense interceptors and space launch vehicles
