Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. seeks a senior Systems Engineer for Mission Modeling Simulation at the on-site Chandler, AZ location. The role leads MS&A efforts, defines analysis plans, mentors engineers, and interfaces with program leadership to shape requirements and architecture.

Required: U.S. citizenship, Secret clearance, and a strong background in missile/interceptor MS&A, with experience using AF SIM/NGTS/STK and MATLAB/Simulink.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required and a Secret clearance is required or active TS/SAP preferred.
• Bachelor’s in a STEM field with 14+ years (or Master’s 12, PhD 10) of related experience.
• Extensive mission- and system-level modeling and simulation experience in missile/interceptor or defense systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and integration of mission-level and system-level models and simulations.
• Direct operations analyses, mission effectiveness studies, and architecture trade studies.
• Define MS&A task plans including model development and verification/validation.
• Guide design decisions with data-driven analyses and sensitivity studies.
• Mentor MS&A engineers and present results to leadership and customers.
