Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City is seeking a System Manager for Consignment and Implants in Cambridge Tower to lead the consignment program and supplier relations, ensuring quality, availability, and value across the department.

This role partners with the Director and clinical end-users to standardize products, oversee contracts, audits, and vendor compliance, and to drive continuous improvement in supply chain for implanted devices and consignment items.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years supply chain experience with progressive responsibilities.
• Must complete full TUKHS Lean training within 12 months of hire.
• Experience leading team members through effective change.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Kansas City team and collaborate with the Director of Distribution and Logistics for the Great Bend area.
• Collaborate with vendor/suppliers to determine consignment/implant products and par levels.
• Manage end-to-end processes of the consignment/implant for standardization.
• Oversee the contracts process to ensure consistency.
• Maintain monthly/quarterly audits and report discrepancies to director and vendors.
• Ensure vendor compliance with policy, procedures and supplier management.
• Allocate time to handle multiple priorities across areas of responsibility.
• Work with procedural and peri-operative leaders to ensure continuity of care.
• Develop strategy with BSS and SC leadership to grow the program.
• Share information and knowledge to achieve common objectives.
• Proactively engage vendors to understand product changes and maintain supply.
