Job summary

Kansas Surgery & Recovery Center in Wichita is seeking a reliable Materials Management Assistant to support inventory, implant, and supply operations. You will enter inventory orders, assist with inventory control, and process implant logs to ensure supplies and equipment are available for daily patient care. Full-time, Monday–Friday 7:30 am–4:00 pm.

Requires two years of purchasing, inventory, and ordering experience, preferably in healthcare. High school diploma or GED is required.

• Healthcare or medical supply environment preferred.
• Attention to detail required for inventory logs and records.

Responsibilities

POSITION

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Materials Management Assistant to support the hospital’s inventory, implant, and supply management operations. This position is responsible for entering inventory orders, assisting with inventory control, retrieving and processing implant logs, and helping ensure supplies, implants, and equipment are available when needed. The Materials Management Assistant supports the receipt, storage, organization, and distribution of supplies and implants to promote efficient daily operations and quality patient care.

HOURS

Full-time: Monday through Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Two years of purchasing, inventory, and ordering experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical supply environment.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED required.
