Job summary

Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Senior Principal Engineer to lead the System Requirements & Engineering IPT for the XTR-2 program. You will guide multi-discipline engineers, oversee system architecture, CONOPS, and design reviews, and manage cost, schedule, and technical performance for the IPT scope.

This onsite role in Woburn, MA requires active DoD Secret clearance. You will collaborate with program leadership and customers to ensure artifacts meet stringent

Qualifications

• Active and transferable U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility for a security clearance.
• Experience with cost, schedule and risk management on programs with DoD customers.
• Experience presenting program and technical issues to senior stakeholders.
• Experience with proposal or capture efforts and reporting on program performance.
• Knowledge of earned value management systems and integrated master schedules is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns system engineering scope for XTR-2 and leads IPT efforts.
• Develops and flows down system-level requirements to subsystems.
• Leads system architecture, CONOPS refinement, and life-cycle engineering.
• Manages interface requirements and system ICDs with traceability (DOORS).
• Plans system integration, verification/validation strategy, and SRR/PDR/CDR inputs.
• Coordinates with IPTs to align system requirements and SE deliverables.
