Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information technology, engineering or related field.
Five years of experience in systems integrations.
Experience with educational or administrative systems in higher education environments (SIS/LMS/ERP).
Designs RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration solutions.
Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, and API Management.
CI/CD deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, and automated testing.
Experience with CDC, batch processing, and file-based integration patterns.
Experience with job scheduling and workflow automation.

Job description

Develop and maintain secure, scalable integrations between enterprise systems, internal applications, and third-party services
Design APIs and service-oriented architectures aligned with best practices and business needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into maintainable technical solutions
Lead technical design efforts for projects involving significant integration or infrastructure components
Maintain knowledge of storage, compute, and network components as they pertain to integrations
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable software delivery
Coordinate with infrastructure and operations teams on deployment practices and environment configuration
Develop and maintain scripts and infrastructure-as-code for automated provisioning, monitoring, and deployment
Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and observability tools into the release process
Serve as a subject matter expert on application and data integrations, middleware platforms, and message-based systems
Monitor integration performance and health, identifying and addressing reliability, efficiency, and scalability concerns
Implement logging, alerting, and telemetry for visibility and troubleshooting
Mentor developers in integration patterns, CI/CD practices, and modern deployment approaches
Conduct code reviews and technical consultations
Support the team lead with technical tasks, backlog refinement, and sprint planning
Collaborate with senior developers, peers, and architects
Provide guidance on initial project documents, including concept proposals and LBCs
Produce technical documentation, operational runbooks, and deployment standards
Lead internal workshops or training sessions
Evaluate emerging tools and technologies and improve development, deployment, and operational processes

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, engineering or related
Five (5) years in any occupation with experience in systems integrations
Experience with educational or administrative systems in higher education environments, including Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems, or ERP systems
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and enterprise integration solutions
Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Function Apps
Experience with Azure API Management
Experience with CI/CD deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git version control, and automated testing frameworks
Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) technologies, batch processing, and file-based integration patterns
Experience with job scheduling and workflow automation
Database development and stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server
Experience with message queuing, event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, and real-time data synchronization
Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Information technology, engineering or related and three (3) years in any occupation with experience in systems integrations
Must have the listed technical skills
Conditional upon meeting all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S.
