Job summary

Raytheon in Aurora, CO seeks a Senior Systems Engineer – Integration and Test to support ground system solutions. You will join an Agile Release Train, integrating software and hardware, and developing automated tests for verification across the development lifecycle.

The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience, Linux, Python/Perl scripting, and an active TS/SCI clearance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure robust system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in CI/CD environments with regression testing, test scripting, and test automation.
• Experience in software development for ground systems or space ISR platforms.
• Hands-on systems integration and test engineering, including debugging activities.
• Linux Red Hat environments with Python and/or Perl scripting.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required before start date.
• Experience with satellite ground systems or space ISR programs.
• Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps in Agile contexts.
• Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) and test automation tools (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zephyr).
• Proficiency in Java, C++, and Python; comfortable with Linux and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver advanced ground system solutions.
• Perform system integration and test activities as part of an Agile Release Train (ART).
• Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and develop solutions.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts to support verification and validation.
• Troubleshoot and debug system-level issues to ensure reliable performance.
• Contribute to Agile development activities in a collaborative program environment.
