Job summary

Auria is hiring a Systems Engineering & Integration Engineer to guide the full lifecycle of a portable SATCOM system. You will apply SE practices across requirements, architecture, integration, verification, test planning and customer delivery.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on SE experience across hardware/software systems, with collaboration across disciplines and a focus on system-level troubleshooting. This hybrid Colorado Springs position supports a dynamic, multi‑discipline team delivering

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
On-site in Colorado Springs four days per week.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical/Computer/Computer Engineering, or related.
5+ years in systems engineering, integration, verification, validation, or testing.
Experience with requirements traceability and verification.
Experience developing formal documentation and customer deliverables.
Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional coordination.
Experience with Agile tools (Jira/Confluence).

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain system architecture artifacts (use cases, scenarios, diagrams, interfaces).
Plan and coordinate system integration across hardware, software, RF, networking, and cybersecurity.
Develop verification strategies, TEMP, test plans/procedures, and verification matrices.
Lead integration and formal test activities, including evidence collection and closure.
Review CDRLs and ensure technical accuracy and contractual compliance.
Support and lead technical reviews, acceptance activities, and configuration closure.
Assess impact of technical changes on requirements, interfaces, and baselines.
Support system acceptance, field integration, and transition to operations.
Provide guidance to less-experienced SEIT engineers to improve repeatable practices.
