Job summary

Auria is seeking a Senior System Engineer to support the R2C2 program, modernizing SatOps and Ground Communications for orbital warfare. This mostly remote role in the Colorado Springs area offers up to 50% travel and requires a 4–6 year systems engineering background, with active U.S.

Secret clearance preferred. You will engage with government SMEs and drive complex initiatives to successful, field-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Working-level engineering skills enabling leadership of complex initiatives.
• Proven track record launching mission-critical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Daily interactions with government subject matter experts on system architecture and status.
• Collaborate with Program Manager to align sprints with Product Owner expectations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement; capture and communicate results.
• Attend daily stand-ups and planning meetings (virtual or in-person).
• Assist development and support teams with expertise as needed.
