Job summary
Saige Partners seeks a Systems Engineer/Senior Systems Engineer to join our enterprise infrastructure team. The role focuses on virtualization, server administration, and designing scalable solutions using VMware technologies.
You will manage physical hardware in data centers and remote facilities while aligning with security, DR, and change-control procedures. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or 7–12 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure and strong knowledge of VMware
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, CIS, or related field or 7-12 years of enterprise infra experience.
- Experience with VMware Cloud Foundations, NSX, SRM, and vSphere components.
- Strong knowledge of data center hardware, storage arrays, and network basics (TCP/IP).
- Willingness to work nights/weekends for 3rd-level support and plant downtime upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Serve as SME for Enterprise Server Virtualization including VMware Hypervisor.
- Design, implement, configure, and monitor virtualization to meet business needs.
- Manage physical hardware in data centers and remote facilities; ensure DR readiness.
- Collaborate with platform teams on lifecycle management and change control procedures.
