Job summary

Verista is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead program planning and cross-functional delivery for life sciences projects. You will coordinate engineering software and hardware teams, manage risks, and drive milestones with Agile/Scrum practices.

The role requires 5+ years in technical PM, strong communication, and experience in regulated product development environments. Hybrid Alameda travel quarterly; US salary range disclosed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical project or program management experience supporting product development, engineering, software, or technology programs.
• Experience developing and managing integrated schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced development environment.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and applying them in practice.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and meeting-facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead program planning and execution with integrated project plans and milestones.
• Drive cross-functional delivery across systems engineering, software, hardware, quality, and other teams.
• Facilitate scope definition, deliverables, sequencing, and delivery commitments.
• Monitor performance and coordinate mitigation actions for variances.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum and hybrid project-management processes.
• Establish team practices that promote transparency and accountability across workstreams.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and changes with escalation as needed.
• Coordinate stakeholder communication and decision logs across projects.
• Develop leadership-ready reporting and dashboards for status and progress.
• Support supplier, resource, and financial management and knowledge transfer.
