Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado Springs, CO, seeks an experienced leader to manage a high-energy Agile software development team for a critical mission. You will oversee a 7–10 person team, drive cost, schedule, and technical delivery, and adapt agile methods across programs to meet dynamic needs.

The role requires strong leadership, deep software/systems engineering expertise, and the ability to coordinate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in full lifecycle of Software Engineering or Systems Engineering for software intensive projects.
• Experience managing software and systems engineering efforts using Agile methods, processes, and practices.
• Recent leadership experience, able to guide a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a 7 to 10 person Agile software development team.
• Direct cost, execution, and schedule oversight for project budgets.
• Lead across multiple programs and drive continuous improvement in agile practices.
