Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado is seeking a Systems Engineering Lead for the SEIT team. You will oversee system design, verification, and test activities, engaging with the Program Manager, Chief Engineer, and Software Lead to deliver software products in an Agile setting.

Trainees and training material development are expected. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, and the ability to interact directly with the USG customer.

Qualifications

• Experience with requirements development, tracking, and verification testing of systems.
• Working knowledge of Systems Engineering methods and processes.
• Experience with creating and delivering compelling presentations.
• Experience generating system documentation, system workflow diagrams, user workflow diagrams, and user training documentation.
• Ability to support occasional business travel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work with multiple teams on different concurrent projects.
• Active and current TS/SCI clearance. Thus US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder engagement with Program Leadership and USG customer to meet budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate requirements and enable integration.
• Lead system design, development, integration, and testing including regression testing.
• Lead full system testing after each development cycle.
• Recruitment, staffing, training, mentoring and performance management.
• Lead with passion and courage to ensure team success.
• Participate in daily standups, testing and demos.
