Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, product development, or system architecture in energy or power systems.
• Extensive experience with utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) and grid integration.
• Strong understanding of requirements development, functional decomposition, and verification & validation.
• Experience with safety standards such as UL 9540, UL 9540A, IEC 62933, NFPA 855.

Responsibilities

• Develop system test plans and maintain system test cases with systems engineers.
• Lead integration activities for prototype systems before safety certification and tests.
• Define verification and validation strategies for hardware testing and FAT/SAT.
• Provide guidance on testing procedures, pass/fail criteria, and defect tracking in Jira.
• Collaborate with lab operations and cross-functional teams across China and globally.
