Job summary

Kaiva Tech, LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking a Systems Engineer/Administrator to secure and operate servers across on-premises and cloud environments for our Federal Government customer.

You will build and maintain Windows Domain Controllers, VMware, NAS, Microsoft 365 services, and PKI, while enforcing security, IAM, backups, and documentation. This role is 100% onsite with Secret clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Information Systems/CS or 5 years relevant professional experience.
• Experience with VMware vCenter and ESXi.
• Experience with on-premises and cloud Microsoft products (Azure, AD, M365).
• Federal government experience is mandatory.
• Strong security mindset and patch management experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain Windows Domain Controllers and servers (cloud or on-prem).
• Manage VMware vSphere environment.
• Manage NAS systems and backups (Veeam).
• Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 services (Intune, Entra, Exchange).
• Maintain Active Directory identity and access (on-prem and cloud).
• Implement PKI for authentication and encryption.
• Document configurations and changes; report status to stakeholders.
