Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer II/III to support development of complex military systems in Wilmington, MA. You will lead system modeling, requirements traceability, and interface management within an integrated engineering team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering with 2+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in teams and independently. An active or obtainable U.S. security clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related discipline with 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer interfacing and ability to build relationships.
• Familiarity with SysML and DOORS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system modeling, operations analysis, and requirements decomposition.
• Develop system requirement specification and verification plans.
• Generate overall system architecture to meet customer, functional, reliability and safety requirements.
• Address Engineering Lifecycle from development to manufacturing to fielding and support.
• Ensure requirements traceability, interface management, and risk analysis; coordinate milestone reviews.
