Job summary

Roseburg Forest Products Co. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Project Management) to lead the design, deployment, and support of critical IT infrastructure in alignment with business objectives.

The role requires expertise in VMware vSphere/NSX, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Online, and scripting with PowerShell/PowerCLI. Occasional travel to Roseburg facilities is expected and on-site work is involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of IT systems engineering, infrastructure management, and enterprise environments.
• Strong VMware virtualization and storage/provisioning experience.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Online/Hybrid, and Microsoft 365.
• Security, resilience, scripting, and automation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage VMware vSphere and Cloud Foundation including ESX configuration and lifecycle management.
• Administer VMware NSX networking and security virtualization with segmentation and overlays.
• Oversee Pure Storage and compute platforms such as Cisco UCS; manage via Intersight.
• Implement DR and cyber resilience strategies using VMware solutions.
• Maintain AD DS, DNS, and Group Policy; support Exchange Online/Hybrid and Proofpoint integration.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell/PowerCLI; document configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions per security standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations and occasional travel to Roseburg facilities.
