Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology in Fort Bragg, NC is seeking a Systems Engineer Sr Principal to deliver senior-level administration and engineering for Windows-based networks.

You'll lead design, deployment, and support of Active Directory, Exchange, Skype for Business, and virtualization, ensuring security, high availability, and mission-critical operations across enterprise applications. This role requires TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship; travel up to 10-25%.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of total IT experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and 2019.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Exchange Server 2016.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server 2019.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Skype for Business 2019.
• 4+ years of experience with VMware vSphere, Realize Suite, VCF.
• 2+ years of experience with VMware Workspace ONE.
• 2+ years of experience with Cisco networking.
• BA/BS (Additional Education, Certifications, Training or Work experience can be substituted for the Degree or Work Experience).
• 8570 / 8140 qualified
• ITIL Certification (desired)

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level administration and engineering support of Windows-based server systems.
• Design, configure, implement and support server architectures and enterprise applications (AD, Exchange, Skype for Business).
• Maintain system security, baselines, and incident response; monitor and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead and mentor engineers; ensure high availability and geographic redundancy; support hybrid cloud integration.
• Support or design storage, backup, and network virtualization environments.
