Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Systems Engineer to maintain and secure complex client/server environments. You will implement automation, manage security compliance, and troubleshoot networking with a small team, while communicating clearly with users and customers.

The role requires 6+ years in systems engineering, expertise in Windows and Linux, and experience with Active Directory/LDAP. Must hold TS/SCI with Polygraph. ITAR/EAR considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, CS/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or Mechanical Eng.
• 6+ years in a systems engineering role with strong system administration
• Deep understanding of security compliance frameworks and practices
• Hands-on networking experience with Cisco/Juniper/Arista
• Proficient in Windows and Linux administration
• Familiar with Kubernetes and containerization
• Experience with Active Directory, LDAP and Group Policy
• Knowledge of patching, vulnerability management and security protocols
• Excellent communication to elevate issues to management
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

• Maintain and enhance system integrity, performance, and security across client/server environments
• Implement and manage automation for system administration
