Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator to manage and support mission-critical IT infrastructure across Windows and UNIX platforms. This role covers day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance in a multi-platform environment.

Responsibilities include configuring and operating IT systems, providing Tier I/II support, vulnerability management with Nessus, and working with hardware vendors to refresh systems. A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 5+ years SA experience may substitute for a degree.
• Proficiency with RedHat Linux and Windows troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve complex problems with server hardware, applications and software integration.
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management for escalated tickets.
• Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Provide Tier I and II IT support and problem resolution.
• Manage client/server/storage/network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage RedHat Linux and Windows systems.
• Support vulnerability management using Nessus.
• Handle STE/STN scoring and documentation.
• Maintain POA&Ms and patch systems based on security and functional parameters.
• Collaborate with hardware vendors on system specs and refreshes.
• Analyze escalated issues and provide actionable feedback.
