Job summary

Avalore.ai seeks an experienced Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics and real-time processing. You will work individually or in a team, review components, test results, and address defects while contributing to system design trade-offs.

The role requires extensive SWE experience, strong Python and data-repo skills, and leadership potential. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is highly valued; on-site Maryland location preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 20 years SWE experience preferred.
• 5+ years in Python.
• 7+ years in Software Database and Repository Interface Development.
• Experience leading software teams.
• Active TS/SCI clearance preferred; polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software for new features.
• Integrate software into new or modified systems.
• Develop data queries for databases or repositories.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Lead one or more software development teams as appropriate.
