Avalore.ai seeks an experienced Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics and real-time processing. You will work individually or in a team, review components, test results, and address defects while contributing to system design trade-offs.

The role requires extensive SWE experience, strong Python and data-repo skills, and leadership potential. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is highly valued; on-site Maryland location preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 20 years SWE experience preferred.
5+ years in Python.
7+ years in Software Database and Repository Interface Development.
Experience leading software teams.
Active TS/SCI clearance preferred; polygraph.

Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements to derive design and performance requirements.
Debug existing software and correct defects.
Design and code new software or modify existing software for new features.
Integrate software into new or modified systems.
Develop data queries for databases or repositories.
Write or review software and system documentation.
Lead one or more software development teams as appropriate.
