Job summary

Avalore.ai in Maryland seeks a seasoned Senior Systems Analyst to lead design, integration, and ongoing support of complex DoD IT systems. You will handle day-to-day operations, troubleshooting and escalation for multiple IT domains including server, storage, and network devices.

The role requires 15 years of SA experience, a Bachelor's degree, DoD 8570 IAT II compliance and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Strong problem-solving and capacity planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience as a Systems Analyst in programs/contracts of similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Five years of additional SA experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level II or higher is required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage day-to-day operations of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Coordinate escalation and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform capacity planning.
• Support the design of systems and mission architecture within SOA context.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems involving server hardware, applications and software integration.
